CURB – Center for Architecture and Urbanism is a non-profit organization established in 2013 in Macau with the mission to promote the research, education, production and diffusion of knowledge in the fields of architecture, urbanism, design and urban culture. It develops and supports projects that serve the interests of the community, establishing itself as an exchange platform between the academia, the civil society and government institutions, through research studies, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, competitions, and other initiatives. The Center works both on a regional level – Macau, Pearl River Delta and China – and on an international level – particularly in Asia and Portuguese-speaking countries –, taking local issues to a global audience.
